NTP Lampung Province September 2017 for each subsector recorded at 106.54 for Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P), 94.92 for Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H), 104.96 for Smallholder Subsector (NTP-Pr) ), 116.42 for Livestock Sub-sector (NTP-Pt), 109.97 for Fishing Capture Subsector, and 95.32 for Aquaculture Sub-sector. While NTP Lampung Province was recorded at 105.97.
In September 2017, several commodities experienced price increases, among others in food crops such as grains and cassava / cassava. In the sub-sector of plantation crops, capture fisheries and aquaculture subsector also experienced price increases such as pepper, mackerel, shrimp, mackerel, catfish and goldfish. While in the horticulture and livestock sectors experienced a decrease in prices, among others, the commodity pouch / mustard, tomato, beef cattle, and chicken.
Some of the sub-sectors experienced an increase in NTP in September 2017, except for horticulture and livestock. In detail, the food crops sub-sector increased by 1.72 percent, the horticultural crop sub-sector decreased by 0.93 percent, the subsector of smallholder plantation increased by 1.19 percent, the livestock sub-sector decreased by 1.08 percent, the fisheries sub-sector increased by 0.01 percent, and the aquaculture subsector rose by 0.49 percent. NTP Lampung Province jointly increased by 0.50 percent.
Of the 33 provinces observed in September 2017, there were 24 provinces experiencing increases in NTP and 9 other provinces decreasing. The highest increase in NTP occurred in South Sumatra Province with an increase of 2.16 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung Province which decreased by 0.95 percent.
September 2017 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced deflation of 0.25 percent. Deflation was caused by a fall in the foodstuff price index by 0.81 percent and the education, recreation and sporting groups down by 0.04 percent. Meanwhile, some of the price index group experienced an increase.
